Yemeni Fils

Description

Yemeni Fils refers to the currency used in Yemen prior to the unification of North and South Yemen in 1990. It was divided into 100 fils. Although the Yemeni rial replaced the fils as the official currency, the term "Yemeni Fils" is now used colloquially to refer to small amounts of money in Yemen.
