Description:

Stubble refers to the short, stiff hairs that grow after shaving or cutting hair close to the skin. It can also be used to describe the short, remaining stalks of crops left in the field after harvesting.

In regards to facial hair, stubble is often considered a fashionable style and gives a rugged or slightly unkempt appearance.
