Neap Tide

Description

A neap tide refers to one of the two periods of minimal tidal range occurring twice a month, during the first and third quarters of the lunar month. Neap tides are caused by the gravitational forces of the sun and moon working against each other. These tides have a smaller amplitude compared to spring tides.
