Definitions from the WebKnock RummyKnock Rummy is a popular card game played with a standard deck of 52 cards. It is derived from the classic game of Rummy and is often referred to as Gin Rummy or Gin. The objective of Knock Rummy is to form melds of cards, which can be sets (three or four cards of the same rank) or runs (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit). Players take turns drawing and discarding cards in order to create melds and reduce their hand to a specific point value, known as knocking. The player who reaches the required point value and knocks first wins the round.
