Brittleness

Description

Brittleness refers to the quality of being easily broken or shattered under pressure, exhibiting little or no flexibility or resilience. In materials, it is the opposite of toughness, and is often characterized by a lack of stretchiness or malleability. Brittleness can also be used to describe the quality of being easily offended or emotionally fragile.
